Ice Cream Results

When I sat down and read the recipe, I realized how long and complicated the process was so I ended up using this easier recipe but it still took 9 hours. I may or may not have developed arthritis in my right hand from holding an electric mixer for 30 minutes… Make sure you check the amounts in the ingredients you buy so you don’t end up taking a second trip to the market like I did. The freeze time took longer than expected so I stayed up to 12:30 waiting to layer the finished product in the jar. I found an old purple jar that I thought was perfect for Valentine’s Day and wrapped a gold ribbon around it. I layered the chocolate, cookie dough, chocolate chips, then vanilla on top. I did this over and over until it was full. At the very top, I put a heart in chocolate chips. The taste didn’t exactly meet my expectations, but it’s the thought that counts I guess. If you have any tips on homemade ice cream, comment below so my hopes and dreams aren’t completely crushed. Have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
